Jamaican Emancipation & Independence

August 1 - 6, 2018

Emancipation Day - Information will be displayed in the entertainment village. Each Day one topic will be shared with the guest and an activity related.

Folk Show - From August 1st to 6th one of Jamaica’s many folk form will be shared. (Mento, Ska, Rock Steady, Quadrille)

Junkunoo Parade - This is march of costumed characters around the properties encouraging photo opportunity and participation.

Jamaican Cooking Demo  - A class that focuses on how to prep and cook Jamaican Cuisines

Jamaican Grand Market  - The Grand Celebration to include both Entertainment and Food and Beverage with display of Artifacts and designs of Jamaican Heritage as well and Cultural and Reggae Shows.

Mother's Day Fun Fest - Activities where mom plays captain of her team to take on other families with beach activities.

Mother's Day Cocktail Party - Live entertainment, cocktails and appetizers served at this special Mother’s Day Martini Mix.

Photo Booth - Booths Created for mom and the family to have pictures taken.

Vocal Presentation - Acapella singers performing to mothers and issuing roses around the Pool and on the Beach

Mother's Day Card & Gift Making - Join us at the Kids Club where we will make Mom a special gift and card! We will decorate gift bags for this special hand made with love gift.

Dear Mom Poem Contest - A contest allowing all to write a poem to their mom. Best written poem will win a Prize.

Father Daycare Challenge - Activities done on the beach to test the skills of the dads on caring for children

Dad Vs the World Beach Games - The fathers will challenge all other guests and staff with beach games. 

Father's Day Card & Gift Making - Join us at the Kids Club where we will make Dad a special gift and card! We will decorate gift bags for this special hand made with love gift.

Father's Day Photo Booths - Specially designed areas will be created for the family to take pictures throughout the day.

Summer Culture Camp

July 1 & 4, 2018

Barbecue Party- hosted with various food items and lots of festivities /prizes and giveaways 

Beach Party- enhanced with a bonfire , DJ’s and various performances. 

Culture Camp introduces the local culture of each host country to our young guests! Do what locals do – learn traditional dance, language and music! Learn about: 

Taste Jamaica – an experience that opens the minds and creative flow of the kids from a culinary standpoint, Highlighting True Jamaican Flavors! 

Jamaican Art & Craft – Local Craft Vendors teach how to weave baskets, sand and paint wooden carvings as well as making jewelry all with a Jamaican flair. 

Jamaican History – This session teaches history of Jamaica its.

Exploring Jamaican Culture– Music and Dance takes the stage with display of various folk forms being displayed! 

Talk Jamaican- The native tongue is taught in this session giving the kids a chance to repeat what they hear as best possible and talk about the different ethnic groups found in Jamaica.


October 31, 2018

Pumpkin Carving Contest - An activity where the family competes in carving the best possible pumpkin. Winning family gets a prize. 

Name That Scary Sound - DJ plays tracks from different scary movies and the guests try to identify.

Halloween Themes Games - Halloween themed Pool/Beach games.

Halloween Show - A 45 minutes production created by the Vibes Team surrounding the theme with elements for all ages.

Scary Movie - Scary Movie Showed at the stage leading up to showtime

Halloween Costume Party - An activity driven by Kids Camp where all kids in costumes are given a chance to parade with a winner for best costume being chosen by the audience.

Haunted Maze - An area designed to scare all those who dare to enter

Trick or Treat - Driven by Kids Camp where the kids are taken to various outlets to collect sweets.

Thanksgiving Dinner - Enjoy a special traditional Thanksgiving Day menu at our Buffet Restaurant complimented by great entertainment. Floor shows and Cabaret performance.

Chef's Cooking Demo - Join our Chef as he presents a cooking demo with traditional Flavors to compliment the theme.


December 24 & 25, 2018

Christmas Eve - The tradition of a Jamaican Grand Market including food, entertainment and local crafts will be the highlight of this day. Decorations to include a combination of Jamaican Folk and Christmas.

Morning Caroling - A choir will parade each block singing carols in the morning and ending at the buffet restaurant.

Non-Denominational Church Service - An early morning service to include praise and worship, scripture reading, singing and dancing.

Santa's Arrival -The highlight of the day will be how Santa Arrives and what he will be taking for all kids. He will be accompanied by elves, a marching band and staff from all departments along with guests.

Christmas Showcase - This will include music and dance production by the Entertainment Team followed by the main Showcase featuring one of Jamaica’s leading Vocalists.

New Year's Eve

December 31, 2018

New Years' Eve Celebration - A themed event that will start from 7pm with various family activities

Show One - Takes the form of a dance show and flows into the DJ building the energy for the main show event. The party favors will be issued during this time.

Main Show - Leading Cabaret group to perform and bring in the new years

New Year Countdown and Fireworks - Fireworks will start at 12mid night and run for 5 minutes

After Party - This happens right after the fireworks allowing the DJ to bring the party to a close

European Countdown - This will be done in a central location with special invites being extended to all European guests where party favors will be issued and a balloon drop will be done complimented by Champagne and a DJ.
