Thalassotherapy is the therapeutic application of seawater and marine-derived substances — including seaweed, sea mud, and marine extracts — to promote physical and emotional well-being. Originating in 19th-century European coastal spa culture, thalassotherapy is recognized for its ability to support cardiovascular circulation, reduce inflammation, ease joint and muscle tension, and improve skin tone through the absorption of marine minerals.
