ROYALTON HOTELS & RESORTS SPOTLIGHTS OVER 668,000 SQ. FT. OF WATER EXPERIENCES ACROSS ITS PORTFOLIO AHEAD OF WINTER TRAVEL SEASON

PH Water Experiences

As the winter travel season approaches and travelers look toward warmer destinations for their upcoming vacations, Royalton Hotels & Resorts is highlighting the scale and diversity of its aquatic offerings, with more than 668,000 square feet of dedicated beachfront water experiences across its resort portfolio. From water parks with towering slides to rooftop infinity pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea, these experiences offer travelers opportunities to enjoy the region's warm climate, while reflecting the different ways guests experience today's all-inclusive vacations, where recreation, relaxation and time together extend beyond the shoreline.

Across the company's resort brands, water experiences extend well beyond traditional swimming pools, encompassing family entertainment, active recreation, relaxation, social experiences and accommodations with direct pool access. Across Mexico, the Caribbean and Costa Rica, Royalton Hotels & Resorts brings together distinct aquatic environments that complement the individual character of each property and accommodate a broad range of travel preferences, from multigenerational family vacations to adults-only getaways. These spaces also serve as natural gathering points for the resorts' broader entertainment programming, connecting daytime poolside activities, music and social experiences with evening performances, live entertainment and themed shows throughout the properties.

Mexico, in particular, stands out with more than 327,000 square feet of dedicated water experiences, representing nearly half of the company's total aquatic offering and delivering one of the Caribbean's highest pool-space-to-guest ratios. For families, water experiences can become the centerpiece of an entire day, bringing together entertainment, recreation and opportunities to spend time together. At Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, more than 107,000 square feet of dedicated water experiences include a beachfront water park featuring 14 monster slides, two lazy rivers and extensive oceanfront pools, allowing families to move between adventure and relaxation throughout the day. Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton adds more than 116,000 square feet of water experiences, with beachfront and oceanfront pools, a lazy river with a swim-up bar, a FlowRider® surf machine and a themed kids’ splash park. The experience extends to guests’ accommodations with 221 swim-out suites with dedicated pool access.

The recently renewed Royalton Riviera Cancun and Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun offer more than 95,000 square feet of water experiences, combining oceanfront swimming areas, swim-out pools and hydrotherapy facilities. At Royalton CHIC Cancun, more than 9,000 square feet of water experiences include oceanfront infinity pools and the Level 18 rooftop pool, complementing the resort's adults-only atmosphere with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, poolside entertainment and spaces designed for socializing.

Beyond Mexico, the company's aquatic experiences extend across its Caribbean destinations and Costa Rica, with more than 132,000 square feet in Punta Cana, 112,000 square feet in Jamaica, 88,000 square feet across the West Indies and 8,000 square feet in Costa Rica. From beachfront pools and private plunge pools to hydrotherapy facilities, non-motorized water sports and poolside entertainment, these experiences reflect the character of each destination and the different vacation styles offered throughout the Royalton Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

As travelers plan their winter escapes, Royalton Hotels & Resorts continues to emphasize the variety of experiences available within a single resort stay, where days spent by the water transition into evenings of dining, live performances and entertainment. Across its portfolio, the combination of aquatic spaces and resort-wide programming allows guests to experience a different side of their vacation from morning to night.
